Here are the rules to our site! Please be kind enough to follow them and not give us admins any trouble! ReUser, we'll know when you break a rule if you do.
Lets go over the basic Out-of-Character rules. Out-of-Character is basically NOT roleplaying, for example, the chatbox, or maybe the General Bord.
No Racist Comments/Posts
This can be a very sensitive subject. Everyone has an opinion and I respect that. But, please, I REALLY don't wanna see "Kill the black people!" or "You white cracker!" or anything that comes near that, even if it is joking. Its very offensive and can be taken very literally. If someone does this I will ask them to change it or I will delete it. Then I will have them apologize to who it was directed to. The first time you do this, you get a warning, the second time, a warning, the third time, a 5 day ban, and so on...
Religions
I know people have different belief's in who they believe in [like I believe in God and Jesus, so I am Christian] Anyways, there could be Buddhists or Islam's out there, and some other Christians. As much as you love and believe in your god, don't talk about it. This could cause and arguement in who everyone should believe in and which one is 'real'.
No Critizicing
Please do not critizie posts of other people! Don't say stuff like "Your post is to short" "Add more detail" and stuff! Some of us are beginning and we don't need pressure! You can help them about it just do it nicely.
No Spamming
Spamming is when you say/post things over and over and over again. It's REALLY annoying and I'm pretty sure that people will see it the 1st or 2nd time. So, don't say/post "OH LOOK! LOOK AT THIS TWO HEADED TURTLE!" and show a picture of a 2 headed turtle 15 times in a row.
No Chat-Speaking
Plz don't chat-speak, its rlly annoying & hard 2 understand. <--Please don't chat-speak, it's really annoying and hard to understand! Do you see the difference? I know, its easier to say "OH B4 THIS..." "THIS IS SO KEWL!" "OMG" or something like that but sometimes its hard to understand that. Some people have trouble reading chat-speak so pleease don't..In the chat-box OR posting. Oh, and I WILL allow LOL[laugh out loud], LMAO[laugh my a** off], ROFL[rolling on floor laughing], LTD[laugh to death], and such, but THAT has to be in the chat-box.
Cursing
Cursing is allowed, but don't go overboard. I'm not really picky on what kind of curse-words you can say, and I know how some of you will curse every now and then, but there IS ONE WORD that I DON'T want to say. PERIOD. It's the GD-word. If you don't know what that is PM a staff User. Thanks, ^^ OH, and don't go running around cussing like a hillbilly. I can understand once in awhile but about 5 curse words in one sentence? No!
Respect
Plese respect other Users! Don't go cursing or yelling at them for no reason, save that for characters, I mean, really! And don't go overboard with doing that with characters. If you are mean to another User in anyway, I will have the person apologize for what they said.
Now, lets get into In-Character-Rules. Its the opposite of Out-Of-Character rules. These rules are about roleplaying!
No Power-Playing
Power-playing is having a character which is too strong to defeat. They block/dodge every attack and always hit, thats what power-playing is. I understand you can block/dodge BUT you can't on every hit your opponent does. No wizard/witch or anything can attack and hit everytime. So, watch out for that.
No God-Modding
God-modding is when you control another persons character. An example is:
A uses Expelliarmus and disarms B
You see? !B! had nothing to say about it because !A! controlled him. It should actually be like:
A uses Expelliarmus on B.
B uses Protego and blocks the spell.
See, B actually got to block it! But, don't take advantage of this, reUser, you have to be hit, sometimes!
Death, or possible death of another player's character, needs permission of the character's owner before invoking.
No Mary Sues/Gary Sues
A Mary Sue/Gary Sue is a person that is "perfect" and nothing bad has happened to them or anything. Nobody is perfect, everyone has something happen to them in their life. Also someone who has no weaknesses is a Mary Sue/Gary Sue!
Cursing
Cursing is allowed In-Character. But, like I said, don't use the GD-word. I hate that word, In-Character or out! And, still don't go overboard by cursing 5 curse words in one sentence.
Liquid Time
Liquid Time is allowed! Liquid-time is when your character can be at more than one place! Just pretend it's different days or something.
Now, lets get on with Registration! Registration is when you sign up, and here are some things that might be able to help you have a sucessful account that is sure not to get hacked!
No Spamming
Yes, this counts in the c-box to. If you do spam you can only do it 3 times, ONLY 3! If you spam more then 3 you might get a consequence!
No Advertising
You may not advertise your site in the c-box! Do it in the advertisement board, and only there! Please and thank you.
No Fighting
We don't need drama so please no fighting, especially in the c-box. If you're gonna fight (though I'd rather you not) do it in PM's. But, be warned, someone can PM me saying they got in a fight and if they have proof I have every right to ban you for a few days.
Cussing
Be careful with cussing! Yeah, you can cuss some, but don't go cussing like a hill-billy, saying 5 cusswords in one sentence. Please, no name calling either! You can only say cuss words a few times, not every day frequently! And, don't use the GD word!
No Text-Talk
Text talk is quite annoying so please keep away from it! I understand lol and stuff but "B4" and "I C U" is different. Please, some Users have trouble understanding text words so don't do it.
Check it Staff
Please don't tell Staff to check your app or something, we will get to it sometime or later, trust me. If you ask we will wait awhile before we even accept it. The more you ask the longer we will wait, so its your choice.
Name
OK, you can make ANY name! I will allow any kind of account name unless it has a curse word in it. For example: KickYourA**
Password
You need a good password that nobody could guess except for you! Don't want to get hacked do we? We wouldn't encourage things like harrypotter or hogwarts333 or such. It wouldn't be smart to put something like your pet name, your birthdate, your name, or anything like that that your friends know. Also, don't make it TOO long, because then its easier to forget. Sometimes I do that myself [actually forget to put CAPITAL instead lowercase letters] So, make sure you have a good password that only you should be able to know!
Hacked
If you DO get hacked then I will be able to delete the account. But, you will lose everything that was on your account. Your characters and everything. If you want your stuff back [I'm sure you would] then your gonna have to prove its you. Also, it would be a good thing if you get hacked then use a different password.
Charries [Characters]
You can have as many characters as you want ^^ just make sure you can keep them all active! If you don't want a character anymore then you can put them up for adoption, and someone else could take them. Please do remember you must have an account for every character, plus the gender must be the gender of your character. The only time you don't have to make another account is if you're making a exceed and she/he belongs to someone. Also make it where you have the same age as your character pleaaaseeeee.
Now, shall we talk about Graphics? You need to know what you can and can't put so you won't get in trouble.
Graphic Size
Please do not have above 500px It stretches the board and it can be really irritating. If I see a picture stretching the board I will delete the post it's in. You can also resize it by using sites like Photobucket, Photoscape, and maybe Photoshop!
Credits
Please put the credits of a picture if you know who it is. If you edited it, and it is now pretty much yours, then you can also put your own name. Or, if it IS yours you can put your name. Also if you don't know who it belongs to just put a link to the site. Like this:
Avatars
Avatars should be no more then 100 x 100. Smaller pictures used as avatars aren't really encouraged, buuuut if it looks good to you, then you can. ^^
